[West Thames College]

On Friday 25 March, Mary Macleod, Member of Parliament for the Brentford and Isleworth constituency, visited West Thames College to meet with students and tour the campus.

During a two hour stay, Ms Macleod was shown how the campus has transformed over the past 24 months and also met with Media, ESOL, Supported Learning and Science students. Both the media and ESOL students asked the Tory politician a number of questions on topics such as the Education Maintenance Allowance, student loans, unemployment and improving the local area. Ms Macleod described the college as “a fantastic facility with great courses,” adding that she was “really impressed with the questions she was asked.”
