Active Informatics are delighted to announce that West Suffolk College has renewed their contract for Intuition for their student services department.
West Suffolk College is a rural further education college with over 13,798 students including 14-16 students, 16-18 students, apprentices, workplace learners and adult students in 2013/14.
The College are Intuition users since 2011. Intuition helps the College to manage support for all its vulnerable learners as well as an efficient reporting to analyse any emerging trends. The safeguarding section of Intuition helps to ensure that no learner is forgotten – all information is recorded and shared when appropriate across various departments to ensure any issue has been addressed and followed up.
Recently, the College has also started to use the finance section to track discretionary funding and other awards.
“Intuition is a wonderful tool for Welfare and Student Service practitioners. We use it throughout the team from counsellors, welfare advisers and personal support workers to our Student Welfare reception staff. Reports are amazing and ever necessary with regard to Ofsted. It has changed our working life here at West Suffolk for the better. Also the team at Active Informatics are so helpful and friendly and very willing to adapt the product. It couldn’t be better,” said Sarah Louise Neesam, Student Welfare Manager at the West Suffolk College.
Intuition enables the creation and management of an evidence base that safeguards learners and reduces time spent on management reporting, self assessment reports and Ofsted inspections. It helps to create and maintain truly holistic view of the learner to support those at risk.
