The new build has two separate buildings and opens in Grays high street this September, with this video focussing on the larger West Building as it fills the screen and space that was there before it.
Angela O'Donoghue, Principal and Chief Executive for the College, said: "It's astonishing to see the £45 million building be formed in front of your very eyes, it is all on time and will be handed over to the College by the main contractors, Skanska, in July."
The College will then be working on transferring items from the current Thurrock Campus and readying student and staff areas with new equipment and new facilities ready for this coming September.
And, if the timelapse has wowed you, there is still plenty of time to apply for a whole range of courses, both new and returning, helping to ensure that South Essex College is the only place to study in Thurrock come September 2014.
