On Wednesday 8th February, Swindon College saw hundreds of people flooding through its doors for a taste of the courses on offer at the College’s Open Evening. The event took place at the North Star campus, and visitors were given the chance to try their hand at different trades such as plastering and brickwork, and were treated to demonstrations from areas such as Sport, Beauty and Media Make-up. The Art School was also open to showcase the students’ recent work, and staff and students were on hand to discuss University courses at the College in the dedicated Higher Education Centre.
Amanda Burnside, Director of Marketing and Services to Students, said:
‘It has been a fantastic evening for visitors as well as our staff and we have had a lot of interest in the College. We have also been letting people know about our new A Levels which run alongside our Level 3 courses.’
