ASOS has joined many other leading retail and logistics companies in signing up as a sponsor for the new 4-year Novus Logistics and Supply Chain BSc degree course, which offers successful graduates a guaranteed job.
Founder of Novus, Andy Kaye said: “We are tremendously proud to have ASOS as a NOVUS degree sponsor. The UK’s largest independent online fashion and beauty retailer is an exciting and innovative player in the world of internet shopping. Visited by millions every day it ships the latest trends to customers in 237 countries. This places the company at the centre of the global supply chain world also. Together, these characteristics epitomise the modern supply chain challenges that NOVUS graduates will be equipped to tackle.”
Students commenced the pilot Novus Logistics and Supply Chain degree course, at the University of Huddersfield in September 2013. “The Novus Trust is now reaching out to all those who are interested in commencing the Novus degree as undergraduates in September 2014,” said Kaye. He added: “We would also encourage more companies to sign up for the exciting sponsorship opportunities. In doing so you will be helping to inspire tomorrow’s supply chain professionals and gaining an opportunity to recruit the best new talent.”
A full list of sponsor companies can be found on the new Novus Web site, which also has full details of the degree course for potential undergraduates and of the sponsorship opportunities for companies in the sector.
