On Thursday 22nd September, Swindon College held their first ever Apprenticeship Awards evening. This event recognised the efforts of the Apprentices in all areas, from Plumbing and Engineering to Hairdressing and Cookery.
The awards ceremony had a fantastic turnout from both apprentices and employers and there was a great atmosphere. The Principal, Andrew Miller, spoke to congratulate the apprentices, and there were also words from representatives from BMW and Honda - these two global companies both regularly take on apprentices from Swindon College.

Warren Titcombe - Wood Occupations (Construction) Apprentice of the year |

Steven Bromley - Electrical Apprentice of the year |

Elliot Collins - Plumbing Apprentice of the year |
|
Daniel Milsom - Best overall Apprentice Commitment & Effort Award |
|
Robert Potter - Honda Apprentice of the Year |

Luiz Saoncela - Most promising Honda Apprentice |

A brilliant evening was had by all and the awards will now become an annual event to recognise the hard work of the College’s apprentices – huge congratulations to all who won awards and a big thank you to all involved!
