Jobs help for young people

Help was at hand for 16-year-old Jodi Humphreys when he went along to find out about jobs with training at a Dudley event.

The RSA Academy pupil took part in the first jobs fair of its kind organised by West Bromwich-based The Apprenticeship Works.

Help for unemployed in Dudley and Sandwell

A new scheme to help the unemployed in two areas of the Black Country has been launched with free training and one-to-one support.

Anyone, who has been out of work for more than six months, is aged over 18 and living in social housing in Kate’s Hill, Dudley or Princes End, Tipton, is entitled to the support.
