Swindon College has received planning permission to build a new Construction Centre of over 1,000 square metres on its campus at North Star Avenue.
The new centre, which will be ready for September 2013, will be used for teaching brickwork, plastering and tiling courses which are currently delivered off site in facilities at Kembrey Park meaning that students will be able to better access support services and other on-campus facilities. Learners from Swindon College have had the fantastic opportunity to work with the Swindon Wildcats, local Ice Hockey Team, as part of their course unit “Working to a brief in Media industries.”

As part of their Travel and Tourism course, Swindon College students researched and planned a visit to Newquay for their residential trip.
