Job seekers retrain to gain pathway to employment

New College Nottingham (ncn) is running a series of skills courses, funded through the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), to help the unemployed retrain and get back into the workforce.

Bright minds meet to share science expertise

Some of the region’s brightest brains met at Central Sussex College for the STEM Ambassadors’ Celebration Evening on Wednesday 18th November.

Students step up their exercise regime at Chesterfield College

Students at Chesterfield College have been given free fruit, water and health bars along with gym memberships, free aerobics, yoga and circuit classes plus much more as part of its “Being Healthy, Staying Safe” week.

esg Secures £17m New Contracts to Help Over 25,000 People Back into Work

Over 25,000 people in England will receive support to get back into work from skills development specialist the Employability and Skills Group (esg). College graduates celebrate in style

Higher education students at West Nottinghamshire College celebrated their successes and achievements at a glittering graduation ceremony at historic Kelham Hall, Newark.

From trouble to taps thanks to New Career Skills

A young man from East London has turned his life around by training to become a plumber after years of getting into trouble.

Celebrity Chef James Martin celebrates WorldSkills UK Gold Medallists

The gold medal winners of WorldSkills UK competitions have been celebrated at a glittering ceremony held at the BFI London IMAX cinema.
