More than 50 delegates from businesses across the Wakefield District were recently welcomed to the Thornes Park Campus for a seminar organised by staff at Wakefield College.

Hairdressing student has a fairytale ending!

On Monday 31st October, Swindon College’s Level 2 Apprenticeship Hairdressing students took part in a competition to create hairstyles with a ‘Fairytale’ theme. They had an hour and a half to produce their interpretation of the theme on their models, complete with makeup and clothing to suit.

Fareham College trains stewards with Southampton Football Club

Students from Fareham College who are studying the Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (USSE) qualification have been reaping the rewards.

The qualification has been run in partnership with Southampton Football Club, and training takes place at St Mary’s Stadium. College governor brings new business focus to training

Gateshead College has appointed Ivan Jepson as a new governor.
