Stanmore College alumni student, Ravi Shah, has been offered a place to study a fully funded PhD in engineering at an internationally leading university, due to his success and academic excellence.
Ravi attended Stanmore College from 2005-2007, where he studied A levels in mathematics, physics and chemistry. On completion of his further education studies, Ravi enrolled at King’s College London, in September 2007, to study (BEng with Honours) Mechanical Engineering.

GCSE students at Newham College passed almost all of their exams and achieved a 99% pass rate.
One hundred and sixty-five teenagers sat exams at campuses at Stratford and East Ham and almost half (49.3%) achieved grades A to C.
The College’s passes this year’s are around five percentage points higher than last and bucks a small national downward trend.
