Students schoop prestigious IBM Apprenticeships

Two IT students from Fareham College have won Apprenticeships at IBM.


Andrew Helps and Rebecca Henderson, both 18, have completed their National Diploma in IT Practitioners and have provisionally received a triple Distinction. They applied for the Apprenticeship after their lecturer, John Knight, gave them the application form from the College’s Job Shop.

College and Pearson deal good news for apprentices and businesses

West Nottinghamshire College has entered into a partnership with leading learning company Pearson.


They have struck a deal that will see the college shift the majority of its Apprenticeship provision over to BTEC Apprenticeships, in a move aimed at reducing administration costs and duplication.

Barnet and Southgate Colleges to merge from November this year

TWO of north London’s Further Education colleges will merge from November after obtaining the go-ahead of Skills Minister John Hayes.
