Petroc College: Supporting students with Careers Explorer

Guinness World Record challenge comes to College of North West London

Aspiring ‘app’ designers from across London came to College of North West London’s Willesden campus last Saturday 13 June to take part in a ground-breaking attempt at record-breaking.

The ‘App-a-thon’ event, which was organised by The Chartered Institute of IT (BCS) together with the College, aimed to break the Guinness World Record for the number of people learning to write Android smartphone applications at the same time.

Apprentices take the biscuit

College of North West London and employees at United Biscuits were celebrating this week as they completed highly successful apprenticeships at the McVitie’s factory in Harlesden.

College event helps local residents explore their dream careers

The College of North West London opened its doors recently to help local residents discover their passions and find out more about their dream careers.

The open day, which saw over 200 people visit the College, included a huge range of activities for people to try.
