On 26 June students from West Thames College joined other high achieving young people from across Hounslow for the Jack Petchey Foundation Awards evening. Stanmore College student, Janae Guishard-Pine, has been called up to play for her national football team, St Kitts & Nevis.

Janae is a second year applied medical science student who is also enrolled on the College’s football scholarship programme with Barnet girl’s football academy. She trains three times a week and plays at a competitive level, whilst having the flexibility and freedom to study the subjects of her choice.

Bringing Construction Skills to Future Generations

Construction students at Chelmsford College are benefiting from a close collaboration with the South-East company Denne Construction. Since January, Denne has organised several careers workshops for first year students and mock interviews for students completing this year to help prepare them for work in the industry.

Stanmore students awarded third place in London-wide college talent show final!

Stanmore College students, who won the College’s annual talent show, have come third in the London-wide college talent show finals, ‘Show me wot you got’.
