Renewables training success for college staff
As part of the College’s progress towards establishing a Renewables Centre of excellence at the Hawick Campus, lecturers Iain Scott and Tom Ramage ran a ‘Renewables Awareness Training’ session for College staff who will be involved with the project.

The highly successful afternoon made staff aware of the various potential training products that the College may be able to offer training and advice on in the future.

College showcase at Dryden Open Day
As part of the 10th Borders Festival of the Horse, SVQ level 1 and 2 Horse Care students demonstrated their skills at Dryden Riding Centre Open Day.

Both groups of students have been working hard over the past few months grooming and trimming the riding school ponies and horses and learning new skills such as plaiting and show production.
