Devastating cuts to the careers service in England are putting the futures of young people at risk, says a report entitled Uncertain futures by the Institute of Career Guidance (to be published at the end of June). Based on a survey of members, it shows not only the extent of redundancies within the careers service, but also the impact this is having on the provision of essential careers guidance to young people at a critical time in their lives.

Major Neil Wilson faced a packed Performance Pod of Uniformed Public Services students from both the Basildon and Southend Campuses as he congratulated them on their past year of success in their end of year awards ceremony.
