College student crowned champion

Omololu Abiodun (20), from Chingford, has proved once more just what a talented sprinter he is.  Despite only recently coming back from a hamstring injury, the Barking & Dagenham College automotive engineering student has been crowned 2013 Essex Champion at the Essex County Athletics Championship.

Barking & Dagenham College student, Scott Ramm, (22), from Romford, has won the ‘Heating and Plumbing Services Group, Trainee of the Year Award 2013’ from the Building & Engineering Services Association (B&ES).

All systems go as new Centre of Excellence for Engineering secures planning approval

Fareham College’s £12 million Centre of Excellence for Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training (CEMAST) has secured approval from planning officers.
