Golf academy star comes tenth in national competition

Stanmore College golf academy student, Kumar Starkie-Gupta, was awarded tenth place in the British Colleges Sport (BCS) national golf championships. Kumar was one of four golfers who represented the London region.


Kumar is currently studying a BTEC extended diploma in sport with the College, whilst on the golf academy scheme in partnership with Stanmore Golf Club, entitling students to free membership and coaching sessions at the club.

Dario Celaschi, current President of Stanmore College Students’ Union, has been elected to serve on the National Executive Committee as a ‘Block of 15’ member, at the National Union of Students’ national conference in Liverpool.
