Derby College has applied to Erewash Borough Council for planning permission to build a new indoor facility at its Equine Centre at Broomfield Hall.
The proposed structure will be 60m by 30m and include a large indoor riding area. It is part of the on-going development plan at Broomfield Hall to improve and expand facilities for the increasing number of students applying for the land-based and public services courses that are based there.

Leading national qualification provider, NCFE, is sponsoring Outdoor Activity learners from Northumberland College, as they raise funds for an epic charity trek up the Himalayas this summer.
