Hundreds of people are getting ready for a six-mile run through West Ham next month that will raise funds for hard-up students.
The first Newham College 10K Run on Sunday 14 April aims to raise money for the Learning Revolution Trust (LRT), a charity that helps remove financial barriers to education faced by east Londoners.

Chair for Life is a new wheelchair designed for young people. The chair, has a seat which goes up and down, enabling disabled children to be at the same height as their friends.

Finance students from Newham College are receiving special lessons from executives from top banks and firms in the UK.
Lessons are part of a two-year programme recently kicked off between the College and the business-led education charity, Career Academies UK.
