Barnfield Races Ahead

Students at Barnfield College Luton are speeding towards the finishing line, working on a real-live racing car.

Twenty-four motor sports students have spent the past two months carefully refurbishing the bodywork of a £12,000 Formule Renault, supplied by Stanbridge Motor Sports of Leighton Buzzard.

The 1999 Renault, which can reach 0-100 in five seconds, has competed in the Kimi Raikonnen Cup.
