Hi Lloyd

Rachel has asked a question on the discussion board about funding for new providers. I thought you could help her... it could be someone who is potentially interested in your help / online course:

Rachel Olowoporoku added a discussion: New providers What is the best way to attract funding as a new provider? Now that everything seems bleak, any ideas?.

I hope this helps

kind regards

Gavin

Hi Lloyd,

Great that you are interested in FE Experts. Can we catch up over the next couple of days to work out a few ideas or topics that could be of interest or useful to people new to funding (or are starting to have to complete bids etc)

Thanks

Gavin

Hi Lloyd

I have just started a discussion on the mixed message from the LSC, one with funding cuts, the other being more college building programmes for £39.6M. Here is the link to the discussion: http://fecommunity.ning.com/forum

I thought I would let you know and see if you wanted to comment?

Speak to you soon

Kind Regards

Hi Lloyd
It sounds very interesting, could be good to have this set up as an event on FE News and FE
Community if you have any dates that your courses are beginning? Could give you great
exposure for your courses.

As another idea. We are in the process of setting up an FE Experts page, which is a tips and
advice page for the sector. One area we were thinking of focusing on was funding.... would you
be open to getting involved in this? It could be good for you to raise awareness as a funding
expert to the community, so as if they are interested in taking a course - they will instantly
think of yourself.

Let me know if this is something you want to explore

Speak to you soon

Kind Regards

Gavin

Hi Lloyd

Welcome to the FE Community.

What do you think of the site? (it's officially our first day)

What is your specialism with the sector?

Kind Regards

Gavin
